This Contractor was to inform and educate the African American community, particularly those formerly incarcerated, about COVID-19 issues and the importance of vaccination. Deliver messages and hold virtual meetings with program participants at local half-way houses using culturally appropriate forums and formats with information about vaccinations, including the booster vaccinations and the importance of vaccination as a health and wellness strategy for keeping yourself and your community healthy and safe. Provide vaccine awareness and education to youth ages 12-18 from Power of People Leadership Institute (PPLI) youth programs. Provide boutique vaccination and wellness clinics to the target audience. Promote and distribute COVID-19 testing kits.
