East African Integration Center (EAIC) will reach out and engage the East African communities including People with Disability, and Youth as primary audience in the Twin Cities, St. Cloud, Willmar, and Mankato area, and Greater MN. EAIC will use methods and strategies Covid-19 Vaccination. EAIC will conduct covid-19 comprehensive media campaign awareness with health expert/leaders on Live TV, Radio to addressing ongoing vaccine hesitancy, booster,12 and younger and educate the myth as well as misinformation surrounding the vaccines and COVID-19 2. Rural Outreach, EAIC will travel to cities, rural MN, mosques, and churches, door knocking to reach those who may not be accessible, elderly and people with disability. 3. Factsheets/Flyers/Videos in different languages and are in culturally linguistically appropriate to ensure that no one is left behind on the account of language barrier, messages are kept short, and accurate with a clear call to action. 4. social media/Text, Group virtual meeting with trusted messengers, community leaders and faith leaders. Provide COVID-19 outreach and Messaging on travelers messaging and create traveler’s culturally tailored COVID-19 information. EAIC will also develop culturally relevant, linguistically appropriate, and timely community engagement activities. Additionally, EAIC will create survey and health assessment to learn about community questions and concerns related to COVID-19 vaccines; work with the State and its partners to address those community needs; and connect communities to covid-19/vaccine related resources, provide reliable information and engage with community leaders and other partners to on co-create culturally and linguistically relevant information. This is to help decrease the vaccine hesitance in the community and increase vaccine uptake.
