The State of Minnesota's Senior Leadership Institute (SLI) has traditionally been facilitated with a graduate-level leadership institution with the Enterprise Talent Development (ETD) team. This year's SLI program was facilitated and organized according to a 5-year master contract with the University of Minnesota's Humphrey School of Public Affairs with ETD.

Timelines were met during the year. The contractor expanded DEAI programming throughout each session as requested. The final report was sent on time, and the Post Mortem session with ETD and the U of MN staff and contractors was held on 1/23/23.
The 2022 SLI program was absolutely successful.

The instructors did a good job of balancing lecture, group discussion, breakouts, and self-reflection activities for each topic.

More attention to detail on clarity of assignments and details on the database for learners needs to be applied. There was confusion for learners on instructions for two sessions. Specifically, there were missed instructions for the Zenger-Folkman 360 session facilitated by State of Minnesota staff. MMB staff sent the instructions to be posted, and also sent a reminder to U of MN staff. Only a portion of the instructions were added to the database.

More attention to detail on scheduling guest State of Minnesota speakers is requested. For one session a state Commissioner was scheduled for the wrong date. Learners were asked to work on their projects, and the Commissioner was rescheduled for a following date. This led to a shortened content session in the following session, and some frustration with both learners and the Commissioner's staff members.
Costs were appropriate.
Overall, MMB-ETD was very pleased with the quality of facilitation, engagement, topics, curriculum updates, the final graduation ceremony, and the program as a whole.

MMB-ETD staff continue to be impressed with the curriculum changes to meet agency leaders' necessary growth and development for a constantly changing environment.
