Summarize purpose of the contract, including why it was necessary: The purpose of this contract was to coordinate and conduct additional soil assessment activities, additional soil vapor assessment activities, and the preparation of a trenching work plan associated with re-establishing the drainage profile within the southern portion of the BNSF easement property at the former Kettle River Company - Creosote Plant Site and Skunk Creek Properties in Sandstone, Minnesota. Data entry and reporting using the laboratory analytical data and GIS technology associated with the sampling was also completed. The assessment of contaminated soil and soil vapor will allow for future remedial excavation phases to protect human health and the environment from the impacts of agricultural chemicals.
