Summarize purpose of the contract, including why it was necessary: Purpose of this work order contract was to provide document hosting and other technical services to assist MDH in responding to a subpoena for document production. This involved ingestion, processing, and hosting of the dataset (approx 55,000 documents) for the duration of the project, along with technical services for production of documents to the subpoena specifications.
Contract was necessary for MDH to fufill legal obligations under subpoena. MDH did not have sufficient resources in house to support this project due to size of dataset and other demands on staff time.
