Evaluate the contractor's timeliness Timely completion of work.

Evaluate the contractor's quality For the level of skill, the quality is ok. Most of the crew members do not have much experience in natural resource work which can result in lower-quality work being accomplished. The crews in 2021 also required a lot of training and oversight (i.e. lots of DNR staff time needed for project guidance).

Evaluate the contractor's cost Competitive. Rate is negotiated by master contact.

Evaluate the contractor's overall performance Overall performance was ok. Resource objectives were met, but work usually took more time than anticipated. Some projects were not completed due to weather (beyond control of contractor). We also had an agreement for a certain number of crew weeks, but then the contractor scheduled our crews for projects with other agencies (without our knowledge) and we lost a lot of time that we had originally been promised.
