Summarize purpose of the contract, including why it was necessary: Braun will conduct Vapor Intrusion (VI) and groundwater investigation activities at up to 20 various sites as determined by the MPCA project manager. The investigation activities will evaluate the potential for vapor intrusion or groundwater contamination to nearby receptors associated with previously closed releases. Soil gas, sub-slab soil vapor, ambient outdoor air, indoor air, supply well and groundwater sampling will be conducted to support this effort. Braun will also oversee subcontractors for soil boring advancement, and for construction to mitigate vapors. Results of the work completed for each site will be presented in formal reports.
