Summarize purpose of the contract, including why it was necessary: To fulfill MnDOT duties and tasks, there was/is a need to analyze and evaluate bridge decks condition for MnDOT related works
(inspections-repair)-purposes. A pilot project to acquire and analyze those bridge decks throughout Minnesota major cities lead
to contracting out this work to a prequalified vendor, NV5 geospatial, to run the first pilot Airborne thermal Infrared analytics
on 40 bridge desks.
On whether this contract would be contracted again: The data is still being reviewed and compared to other data collected using
different methods to find a feasible methods and quality data fit for the works
