Summarize purpose of the contract, including why it was necessary: WCEC oversaw GAC installation at 62 residences with MDH issued advisories and an additional 87 residences that have not been issued advisories but have a health advisory (HI) between 0.5 and 1.0. This work included scheduling and tracking of GAC installations in the East Metro area, along with the tracking of periodic GAC maintenance and repair in a WCEC maintained database. Database updates summarizing progress were provided bimonthly. No one in the agency is currently doing this work, so a contractor was needed.
