Summarize purpose of the contract, including why it was necessary: Contractor will plan, oversee, and report on the installation of up to four groundwater monitoring wells at the Hopkins closed landfill site. Contractor will hire a state contract lab to complete IDW analysis. After well installation, the contractor will collect groundwater elevation and ground-/surface water samples. The contractor will complete well siting and access coordination as well as hiring and oversight of drilling subcontractor and will complete well development. Contractor will follow the state purchasing manual and all guidelines. After completion of the sample collection, contractor will deliver samples to MDH lab for analysis
