Summarize purpose of the contract, including why it was necessary: Braun Intertec will perform a subsurface investigation at the Winona County Closed Landfill to delineate the extent of groundwater contamination. This project is a continuation of the previous FY22 investigation. Braun will prepare drilling specifications and will subcontract the drilling to a state contractor. Braun will oversee drilling activities. Drilling activities will include borehole logging and the installation of three groundwater monitoring wells. Braun will prepare a report summarizing methods and results. Braun will perform all services and/or construction as per the purchasing manual.
