Summarize purpose of the contract, including why it was necessary: Braun Intertec Corp will conduct a groundwater investigation at the Carlton County 2 (North) Closed Landfill. The investigation will include: continuous soil sampling, installation of 16 monitoring wells (8 well nests), well development, and groundwater and surface water sampling. Groundwater sampling will include the 18 permanent wells plus the new 16 monitoring wells. Braun will develop a 3-D visualization of the groundwater plume.
