Summarize purpose of the contract, including why it was necessary: Contractor will plan for and oversee and report on the installation of up to three bedrock groundwater monitoring wells on the WDE Landfill property. The contractor will complete well siting and access coordination, hiring and oversight of drilling subcontractor, monitoring proper well development, and provide completion report. The contractor will follow the state purchasing manual guidelines. The bedrock well installation is the final part in a series of monitoring well installations where recent projects installed wells into the upper sand (shallow) and lower sand units at the site. Well sampling will occur at later date under a different project.
