The DOC received prescription medications through Diamond Pharmacy as a subcontractor of its Comprehensive Health Care Contractor and with an existing system in place for ordering and distribution of medications in the FY2019-2012 contract and for continuity purposes the distribution of 340B medications was maintained under a single source with the same vendor; using another vendor for 340B purchases would mean that one incarcerated individual could be tracked by two different systems – negating the quality assurance provided by Diamond.

Medications are delivered on time, and they also provided timely reports.
High quality work, with prompt responses and easy to work with.
The cost is reasonable for the distribution of 340B medications, and the knowledge needed for 340B.
Overall, the performance was excellent.
