The Midwest Center for School Mental Health is a local organization that seeks to support the successful adoption, integration, and implementation of evidence-based mental health services in school settings, promoting equitable access to services and reducing persistent disparities in mental health outcomes for youth. The Midwest Center for School Mental Health was written into MDE’s grant application due to its experience providing training and technical assistance to LEA’s on Comprehensive School Mental Health Systems and for their expertise in this area. MDE Received the grant based in part on its inclusion of the Midwest Center for School Mental Health in its federal application and is therefore obligated to contract with the Midwest Center for School Mental Health as outlined in the grant.
