The Minnesota Health Access survey is a legislatively mandated survey to conduct population-based monitoring and trending of access, utilization, quality and cost of health care services in Minnesota as well as to monitor the number of uninsured individuals, reasons for lack of insurance and evaluation of the effectiveness of health care reform. The appropriation for this survey specifies that MDH will contract with the State Health Access Data Assistance Center at the University of Minnesota for the survey research services to collect survey data.

Deadlines were agreed to at the time of contracting. Weekly meetings ensured any unforeseen issues that affected timeliness were explained, worked through jointly and dealt with quickly. Timeliness of document reviews, weighting of data sets and writing of technical reports has never been a problem.
Our partners at SHADAC always show a dedication to the quality of the work they do. As survey methods change and are refined over time, SHADAC remains up to date on the best methodology.
Costs for SHADAC are always well laid out, clearly explained and within reason.
SHADAC has a long history of working with MDH and the MNHA survey. Their team has both technical expertise and institutional knowledge of the survey that is invaluable to this project. As a partner with MDH since the beginning of the MNHA, they have performed exceedingly well for decades and continue to do so. We have a well established working relationship.
